Chances for Children Triathlon

Here is an excellent opportunity for a first time triathlon! I talked with Tim Bolen this morning and he still has spots open for this race! I am hoping that we can get a good showing from Kingman for this race. Hopefully the Dolphins don't have a swim meet so we can get some of the young talent there. It will be a good time and it is for a great cause.
Tim Bolen is responsible for the Spirit of Triathlon race here in Kingman in November, and if you have done that race you can rest assured that this one will be just as much fun!

KONA!

Here is a new memeber to the Kingman Tri Club, KONA! He is an 8 week old German Shorthair Pointer. He will be great for running and some hunting as well. He is already fast!! Terry why is your seat stuck in the garage? At least when I did it I got a new bike! I think the seat needs to stay there for a while to serve as a reminder!

I would like to thank everyone that showed up for the ride on the 4th of July! We had a huge turnout, I need to get a hold of a picture so that I can count how many we had, I would guess 50+. A huge thanks to Bonnie for all her time and efforts to prepare the food for us and allowing us to meet at her house and use her pool as well. You rock Bonnie!!!
The Mountain Man Triathlon is coming up soon, July 22nd so sign up soon! I am hoping that we can have a rather large group there as our t-shirts will be done by then with the Kingman Tri Club logo on them. If anyone has any ideas in regards to a good quote to put on the back please let me know. Right now I am thinking about "The only limits are the limits you set upon yourself."
Also don't forget about the junior triathlon coming up on July 14th.
Hope to see everyone this weekend, we will be leaving at 6 to start our Saturday ride from Bicycle Outfitters.

Kingman Tri Club Logo

Here it is, just a rough design for now but it will be the base for what we have to work with. I am going to see about adding some mountains to the center of the sun. I would like to here a lot of suggestions on this, colors, everything!! This is going to be our logo for a long time to come so lets get it right the first time. I want to hear the good and the bad, what do you like and what you dont like!
