Wanted to send out a big congratulations to Shawn, Christina, and Jean for an awesome job at the reverse (run, bike, swim) triathlon last weekend in Anthem. Everyone did well, Jean placed 6th and Christina placed 5th in their age groups. Shawn won the race for the females!!

Chris "Big Boy" Bowers took part in the Lake Las Vegas Triathlon. Chris had great fun and loved racing in the hot temperatures. I can not find the results or the pictures, there is a good chance that his agent had them removed if he did not win. But if any one finds them send me the link and I will add it! I do know that Chris did well and had a fast swim split, but that is about all the details that I know.
The end of the racing season is upon us so get signed up for those last races! SOMA, Las Vegas, and Dick Tomlin Spirit of Triathlon are 3 of the more popular ones. Sign up, go for a PR and end the season on a high note!!
For anyone that is interested we will be having another Bicycle Safety and Triathlon planning meeting Wednesday, 9/19 at 7pm this will be held in the Cerbat Room at the Wellness Center.
